Elephants of the Zambezi

Up close with the elephants on the Zambezi river….

We were on our honeymoon in Zimbabwe, floating downstream on the great Zambezi river. Our guide had expressed some doubt as to whether we would see elephants, but of course he knew better. We rounded a bend, and suddenly we saw them - hundreds of them, coming down the hillside in orderly groups to drink and frolic.
